Date: February 16, 2020.

The first stage was held last weekend 15 and 16 February in Camboriú SC. With 650 participants.

The starts started at 8:30 am, for a total of 30 km for the amateur categories, 43 km for the sport category and 55 km for the Pro category athletes.

The athletes were welcomed on arrival with water hydration, isotonics and draft beer offered by the organization, in addition to the playground for the children and the public present. The place also offered lunch and options for snacks and desserts, as well as a great parking structure, bathrooms and showers.

The great champions of the stage were Jeferson Gardini, from Balneário Camboriu-SC  in the male elite and Karina Rodrigues de Souza from Lages-SC in the female elite.

The opening of the Chaoyang Mountain Bike Challenge has already given a demonstration of the 2020 proposal, a super structured event for the athlete and his companions.

"We have the proposal to offer an event with structure and security, so that the athlete can enjoy with the family, with tranquility, in a climate of a lot of mountain biking, friendship and relaxation." According to the organizer Flavio Borges.
