The Cape Epic the Tour de France for the mountain biker is maybe the hardest MTB Stage Race in the world. 700km with 16000 meters of climbing in eight stages through the unspoiled scenery of South Africa. The BH Coloma Team athletes David Valero and Pablo Rodrigues teamed up for this ultimate challenge. In the first stages they could place themselves in the top ten. At stage three David started to fight with stomach problems which forced them to quit at stage five and end with DNF.
